Well, it's certainly making the country charts too. Geez, not that it was needed. Pop country has had pretty much the same formula for the last 30 plus years. Now, it's just cheaper the manufacture the product with AI.

About 10 days ago I visited a car dealer. We couldn’t come to an agreement so I left. Nothing bad, just not the numbers I was hoping for.
No follow-up until yesterday when I received an email from a “Grace Miles” (ha ha) at the dealer. “Dear ____, Hi, it’s Grace. Do you remember me? I’m just following up with you to see if there’s anything we can do to win your business. No pressure, just want to help if I can. Respectfully, Grace”
Well because I’m still interested in a particular car, I replied. Unbeknownst to me, “Grace” was then taken over by a salesperson pretending to be “Grace”. After several odd back and forths, I was getting suspicious and asked if she worked at the dealer, or remotely. Then the phone rang and a salesperson confessed to taking over for “Grace”.
I went in today to talk to the only salesperson there I trust (he wasn’t there on the initial visit). He apologized and said he was so upset about the AI thing that he quit a few months ago but was persuaded to come back. He confided that all the sales staff hate this AI crap but management is convinced AI will help sell more cars.
What a crock. Watch out - You could be dealing with AI at any time. I could be AI.

I am convinced that it will be the end of us. All of these tech billionaires aren’t building bunkers because they think everything is going to be fine.
FYI - 75% of the people that you try to advertise to with that will absolutely hate it and think that the "AI band pic/oh look isn't this funny/clever/unique" is already annoying as heck and overdone. People generally aren't nearly as impressed with these images as the person who generated them is.
Why would you take a “lame” photo in the first place? Can’t be bothered to use your collective imaginations to construct something you’d be proud of?
It’s not the inevitable evil that disturbs me, but the willing victim mentality.
Here's what happened to me this morning. I want to put a tort guard on a bass and asked Claude to render me an image if I gave it an image of the bass and the pickguard color. "Sure".

Utterly reprehensible.
Ya, a bunch of bands are using AI to generate stuff like that around here. No way I'd go for that with our band.

It may not be that simple. The local utility company in Lake Tahoe, Liberty Energy, has apparently known since 2009 that it needed to find another supplier of electricity to replace their current supplier, NV Energy.

Here on TB I do try to correct misleading or inaccurate info when I come across it, not to be contentious but for the benefit of this community. I wish people understood how Al works, If someone is trying get factual info from a bot good luck as AI does not "know" facts it recognizes patterns from info, It can not distinguish between truth and falsehoods as it an aggregate of whatever information it “learns” from; garbage in = garbage out.
