Gotta love sellers with a sense of humor. In the 90's, I traveled to a store that had a 60's P bass listed in "mint" condition. The bass was beat. When I asked the owner about the condition, he responded with "mint" for its age, lol.

This singer was a flatist. And he actually took care of this microphone according to his standards.

When I worked at the Ogden Theatre we had the Cramps two New Years Eves in a row. Each time they requested a brand new Shure 58 for the show. By the end of the night it was completely mangled like the one above. I would put a new head on it and make it a house mic.
I won't even try to describe what Marilyn Manson did with the 58 he used for his show there, it ended up in the dumpster though.
And then there was the ones for Rammstein, mic and clip melted into the stand.

And what's crazy is it probably works fine as is.
Most would assume it was contaminated with more than just slobber, ironically maybe somebody out there back in the day would have paid more than 80 bucks for it.
