04 MIM J bass strings

This MIM J bass has a MIM P neck and stock pickups...i need balanced strings rounds are ok as long as they are smooth and balanced string to string, particularly the G string seems bright and thin.

I do like flats but dont really want La Bella sound i dont think (though i like GHS precision flats) i want some growl but smooth in feel and i need string to string balance...dont care if they are long lasting to be honest i prefer them to sound good right off and dont want floppy tension or super bright....some growl is a plus.

I was thinking GHS balanced nickels or something similar.

Thanks in advance!

GHS Pressurewound ML7200 (44-58-80-102). Nicely balanced right from the factory both in tone and feel. Smoother in surface texture than typical rounds, although they're not "flatwound smooth". GHS Balanced Nickels are a good option for perfect balance in tone and tension, but they're not quite as smooth in texture as the PWs. Between the two the PWs are stronger in mid character with more growl and "crunch".

D'A balanced tension set (EXL170BT, 45-60-80-107) is balanced in tension alright, but I personally didn't like the rougher feel.
