attached files are all the same picture and you have to download them to see them. TB has a mountain icon next to the smiley face icon that is the "picture icon". If you click on that it will let you upload the image from your files. Then you can display it "full size" so everyone can easily see it without needing to download and open it.

Thanks for the tips. I was having issues getting it to work on my mobile phone.

Also, I like your idea for a pull out drawer.

This is how I used to run my 1001RB in a 3U rack. Yes, more than enough clearance on top given the distance to the rack top. The fan pulls air in from the top on these models and exhausts out the front FWIW.

Also, don't forget that you can mount things in the back. I have a 1U power strip with a preamp pedal attached to it in the back there.

So after our gig last night, I dropped my Gallien Krueger 1001RB onto the floor. It wasn’t in a case, it hit my thigh on the way down and landed on a corner. It has a small ding, I plugged it in when I got back to the jam space when I got home and it still works. Thing is a tank!

Anyways, I’ve decided to put it back in the 3 space rack case I have. This will leave me with one open rack space. Now, I really don’t *need* anything. My pedalboard has a Boss TU-3 tuner, a Darkglass preamp pedal, flanger, EHX canyon and an MXR analog octave. Our band is a rock cover band, we do mostly 90s rock with a few 80s and classic rock tunes. I like to mess around and have fun with effects and stuff as well. For example: We do a spaced out version of 7 Nation Army by the White Stripes where I use the flanger then kick on some dirt for the choruses. Guitarist uses some crazy modulation effects for the guitar solos. That kinda thing.

So my question to you guys is: what should I put in the remaining rack space? What would you put?

Air flow. Nothing kills electronics like heat.

Personally I would put a Power conditioner being small in depth and room for fan to circulate the air in the rack.
But that is me...
If not then just put a 1U vent plate.

Used Korg DTR-1's are around everywhere and super cheap these days.

I had one in my last rack and put it in storage and forgot about it. Found it n the recent clean up and have been using it and it's much more pleasant to use than a pedal or the tuner in my Zoom FX unit.

So I'd buy a four space rack and put the ART and rackmount tuner in there, those two will add about 13 pounds of weight but well worth it IMHO.

Agreed with the thermal issues covered. I use pro amps which vebt rearwards so no issue for me, but as others have said, heat kills electronics.
