Sup fellas! Speaking for myself only! I think I have reached Bass Player Heaven. For the past year I have been using some new Powered Cabs by a company called Uncontained Sound. There was a thread posted a while back but I have really put these cabs through the ringer since then. Right now I run my active basses direct into the cab with only an EBS Compressor in between and a direct box when needed. I'm using 2 of the 2x10 cabs for the larger venues and a single for the smaller clubs. The cabs are 450 watts each and kill. The idea of powered cabs is nothing new but I just love the idea of Excellent tone, 1 trip from the car and 1 trip to the car at the end of the night! The older cabs are a bit heavy but the new design has really changed that..

I've seen that vid before. The guy in charge is a member here. I remember he took a lot of flak for some unknown reason. People on here like to bust balls over things they haven't tried out yet. They're not my thing but I certainly see the attraction.

That's pretty wicked cool. I don't know of another company that's doing a 610 like that unless you want to get something custom built.
