10" practice amp

Looking at a Fender Rumble 40, Ampeg 110, Peavey 10 (110max?), even saw a used SWR LA10, what is your favorite ?

If you happen to run across a used SWR Workingman 10, that is a great practice / acoustic amp. With extension cab I think it gets to about 150w (100w with internal speaker). I used to have an SWR LA8, would not recommend the LA series.

I don't see a single bad choice in the suggestions above. Prices should be relatively close, so I'd say tone/voicing that best fits your style and needs might be the best tie breaker.

Acoustic B10 (GC brand). They're very uncolored. If you like the sound of your pickups, you'll like the B10.

I still have an SWR Workingman's 10 that gets used all the time. In my opinion, it blows away all the other amps you mentioned. The LA 10 is nowhere close (I used to have one).

There were plenty of Workingman 10s sold and maybe you can find a good one for a cheap price.

It's a shame that Fender pulled the plug on SWR - they made some excellent products.

Warwick is very good, I use the smallest BC10, even for small jazz gigs. The BC40 with a 10" would be a very nice option. And very gigable. Both also very good at low volume and maxed out.

I second Warwick. BC10. Can't beat the price. Tone is good. Nothing bad to say after owning it for over a year and a half.

I have the Ampeg B-108 but I've tried the 110.

Very warm tone. Really surprising to me.
