I miss my workingman 10, victorville stole it. That thing kicked, I played it over drums and guitar all the time, it broke up nice when pushed. I even gigged it a few times. It did finally die, I had it fixed (new amp chip), and it died again, but got stolen before I had a chance to bring it back to the tech. The extension cab getting stolen hurt too, since I played well with my rumble 200 combo.
LA series, meh! Rumble 40 is the way to go nowadays.
Another honorable mention in the bedroom/acoustic range is the peavey minx 110, the one I had was an early 90s 30w, I think some later versions upped the power to about 50w. The microbass 20w 8" was cool too, but the 10" was nicer. For a short time my rig was the minx110 lined out into a kb300, which really improved the tone, adding a decent bass preamp to the kb300 which was rather flat sounding otherwise.
