So the challenge has been accepted... and now what? I've been putting my parts list together off and on for the past few days, and so far am coming in under budget. I haven't settled entirely on wood for the neck, fingerboard or body, so there are going to be some additional costs there, but I should be able to find what I need within my remaining allowance (if worst comes to worst, I'll raid the scrap bin for some fir, and glue up a blank out of that, (I put together a fir blank this afternoon out of scrap as a proof of concept)).
