Quick question here, does the "ER" series have a more flat sounding response, or is it leaning on the scooped side? Your description is great, but having not heard the cabs myself, I don't know which is more flat sounding, or which is more "voiced".
I would consider the HT112ER to be the more balanced of the two. The extended low end can trick you into hearing a tad bit of a mid scoop, but I think that's more of a trick of the mind/ear than a significant scoop. It might be a little lean in the upper mids, though, if anything. The HT112 is fairly balanced throughout its usable range, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some peaks that don't show up in the HT112ER.
