They're taking a great sci fi movie and turning into a TV movie on the sci fi channel. When I saw the trailer I thought it was gonna be a show, but it's apparently just a movie for now. Though I'm betting if the ratings are good, they'll make a show out of it. But this really didn't need to happen. It looks like they got a fake Aaron Paul and made what looks like an inferior film.

Hey let's take one of Terry Gilliam's masterpieces and make a cheap tv movie that doesn't need to exist out of it. Yeesh.

Almost everything I've ever (briefly) seen on that channel while I was surfing was unwatchable. This doesn't look like it's going to be an exception. So at least it's not a big budget travesty like what they did to Total Recall.
