15" planers

Not sure if you guys down in the states have General tools, here in Canada they are well known, awesome sturdy machines, Ive had this 15in for a couple years now and Im still in love with it. Id sleep with it if it wasnt bolted to the concrete floor. The 3Hp is a must for any 15incher if you ask me. I dont miss my 2 13 dewalts I had before this guy..

my CNC delivery had FedEx liftgate service. the truck was a 20' box truck with liftgate. the delivery guy rolled the crate across the drive and into my shop on a pallette jack

super easy, and definitely worth the added $40 service fee :hyper:

in contrast, the new Jointer/planer came home in the back of my truck. finding a couple guys available to visit my shop and lift the 500+ pound unit off my truck and into the shop was a real pain

all the best,

R

That would be sweet!

I'll ask my wife if it was an 18 wheeler. If an 18 wheeler is not going to fit then you could call the delivery company and make other arrangements. My order through Grizzly went very smoothly. A dispatcher from the delivery company contacted us the day prior to delivery to ask what time would work and I think she asked about what kind of truck would fit on our property for delivery.

Thanks I am a bit nervous because I had that issue with a huge load of Limba I got. It arrived on an 18 wheeler and I had to drive up the driveway load 1/2 in my van unload it in the back yard then drive back up to get the other 1/2.....can't do that with a 675lb machine and a bad back....
