18v GAS

HI guys,

I'm currently rethinking my pedalboard (never ending story). So I bought a cioks schizophrenic to restrict myself to 6 pedals (ok 7 or 8 since I took some split flex cables along). The thing is there is an 18v output and now I NEED an 18v pedal….

First I was thinking of a Pigtronix OFO Disnortion but today I receive my second voice deluxe. Therefore I don’t think that pedal would be so useful anymore.

Here are the pedals I have:
Sansamp prog BDI
Copilot fx Cubic
EHX Octave Multiplexer
Copilot fx Orbit
Infanem second voice dlx
EHX Ring thing
Boss Syb5
Mantic Hulk pro
IE Xero dlx
Dunlop Bass Wah
Last but not least the IE subT ordered 3 weeks ago (so not home yet)

So far I’m doing (which change every weeks)
1 SansAmp
2 Cubic/multiplexer (split)
3 Boss syb5
4 Xero
5 Hulk
6 I don't have 18v pedal!!!

As you can guess I’m kinda going for synth style board…

I like weird uncommon effects but I don’t know any other than pigtronix which works on 18v.
Any idea where to look at?

Dr. Scientist The Elements runs on 9 or 18 volt. I ran it on 18 volt with my Iso 5 power supply and it worked well.

Obviously not unknown to you and not weird or uncommon, but a big whoa on the Pigtronix EP-2. Deepest envelope effect in life. Mammoth sweeps. Sounds very different from your IE Xero filter. I only got rid of it because is was too powerful for my post-rock group, which doesn't call for gianormous wall shattering phase vibes. If I was building a synth board however, it'd be the first back on das board. And they've come up at almost half the cost new here in the classifieds.

Thanks for the answers. I had saw some dr Sientist but didn't noticed it was 18v, gotta check that out.
Yep the EP2 has been so long on my wish list that I forgot it... The Bass Envelope Phaser is a funk monster but maybe too funky for me.
Anyway I have still some time before my wallet recover from last month: IE SubT, Infanem Second voice dlx and SFXthumpinator (got squared when i use my hulk at full half power of my stack...)

So I will look around those directions, and if you got other one let me know!

Actuallyt does anyone has AB check the EP2 and the BEP?

I haven't A/B'd them, but according to Pigtronix the BEP is the EP2's little brother stuck in staccato, in a much smaller box, and no LFO phase option amongst other things.

I just got my Emerson Custom Guitars EM-Drive this week, it can run at 9 or 18v, I found that it sounds fuller at 18v so that's where I'm runnin it!
Stellar sound. It's tempting to keep it always-on.
