*2008 - Actually started in Early 2007... The housing crisis, Wall Street Crisis. Guys were using cheap mortgage money to buy escalating collectibles. Guitars, art etc were going thru the roof (about20-30% a year) and being paid for with 4.5% mortgages. Anybody could get a loan.. Well markers were called in, jobs were lost and the entire doctor lawyer collector crowd DUMPED the collectables for 30% off.. They were snapped up.. THEN CAME massive lay offs and the instruments were then dumped again and the entire collectables market took a cra* in 2 months. The auto market is rebounding. The HIGH END collectables (Big guitars, big cars, big art) all came back about 80% or so. The guitar market went back to the player which is where it belongs... Korina is higher than before, Bursts are off, Big Fender is back. Mid Fender is stable. Big Ricks are off but stable... 2008 - yep, I also lost my job... Alls good and GREAT question
