1968 Telecaster Bass neck B profile, 1-5/8 nut width identification

I'm looking everywhere on the internet and all I can find is C profile necks...
Is it possible that Fender made a Telecaster Bass neck with a B-profile as a special order?

Interesting question. I saw your post last night but I’m in a hotel away from home. When I get home this evening, I’ll check mine. It’s a ‘68 serial number with a ‘67 neck stamp.
For now, I’m responding to bump the thread in hopes that some of the Tele bass experts might see it.

Mine is a C neck. Sorry I can't shed any light. My guess is a B could be special ordered.

B is the best width for a Fender neck. Congrats.

This is probably not unlike the rare A width '70s P basses from the factory.
