1970's Ampeg SVT Discovery

Going through my mid to late 70's Ampeg SVT, getting it ready to sell, and inside of the unit I discovered a little brown envelope that contained a surprise from Fast Ed's Music in St. Louis who serviced my amp back in 1987. Inside was a description of the work they had performed and some schematics from Ampeg were in there too. Just really cool to see. IMG_0746.JPG IMG_0746.JPG IMG_0747.JPG IMG_0749.JPG IMG_0745.JPG

there are perfectly good ways to rationalize selling a 70s era SVT, in fact i've done it myself twice. not saying i'm planning to rush out & grab another one, as i'm more or less okay with class D heads, but i definitely wish i'd hung on to one of those ampegs. it looks like yours is a good one, carefully serviced, not butchered. unless you're quitting altogether, there will come a day...

I know what you are saying is true, I think I am just going to offer it up at the price it would take to sell her. It is absolutely the best condition, best sounding mid-70's (or any era) SVT I have heard or seen. Mint.
