Signals is a strong album.

The (my) Rick sounds pretty good playing with those G/P songs. Too bad Ged didn't bring it along on that tour.

That Steinberger sounded great on the Power Windows tour though. Real snappy.

The best era for Rush..1974-1978...

+ 1. Saw them lots of times during that period too. Farewell to Kings was the last of their albums I really got into. Bought a couple more, but started to really dislike them during the late 80s and 90s. Yes, of course I respect their musicianship, but it became waaay too much of a mathematical wankfest for me. Geddy Lee, Gene Simmons, Ace Freehly, and Alex Lifeson taught me to play guitar and bass.

Geddy is an amazing bassist, he has influenced me a lot even if there were playing before I was even born.

Love that video, I've watched it many times. What an amazing song and era for the band. Geddy has long been an influence on my playing although I find his material quite difficulty to transcribe. I'm playing different music now, but feel a Rush phase coming on. Great live show, I've been lucky to see them a few times, wish I had gotten off my butt and seen the Moving Pictures tour back in the day.

i know, although i think the 'berger had the biggest appeal for him because it was minus the headstock (and less cumbersome around all the 'boards) and took up a lot less room than the ric, or the wal for that matter.

i was glad to see the wal live - hyf was happening, saw that tour 4 times.
