1971 Precision Bass: Back from invasive surgery

Try La Bella "deep talkin'" flatwounds, and you'll be AMAZED how much fatter and richer the tone will get ;) (those strings can make a mediocre bass sound really good. Imagine what it would do with a really good bass :))
Thanks for the tip! There are time I need to do some occasional slap and popping for some top 40 tunes and the Chromes still retain enough top end to deliver for that.
 
love the way he cut along the grain...thats really amazing work.
I've got a 71 too..it always amazes me how many they let out the shop with the bridge in the wrong position..dont think Ive ever seen one from that year with it right.
