I know this is an older thread, but I just want to mention the red Lace Sensor. I have a 2012 American Standard Precision that I put the EMG Geezer Butler passive pickup and wiring into. I put the wiring out of the Precision into my 1978 Musicmaster along with a red Lace Sensor. I can't get over how much the two basses sound alike now. I intend to do a comparison video in my home studio and put it on my YouTube channel. The red Lace Sensor turned my Musicmaster into a stage worthy bass. It's like a mini-Precision now. The picture is before I put in the Lace Sensor.
