Maybe I'm being silly, but "original" means original to the instrument. Whether new, NOS, or one salvaged from another instrument, it's not the original part.

I hate the soft nylon shaft pots. The shafts will bend back and forth. This was and is the stupidest thing to ever do to a pot!

Looks like they have 78 date codes (or at least the one I can almost make out from his crappy pics).
Can't imagine anyone wanting to pay $50 for them though.

I might offer my all original harness up for $100, then wire one up myself w/ radio shack parts for like, $12.

A vintage premium on parts that are subject to wear from a bass from pretty much the Nadir of Fender? You've got to be kidding me. I wouldn't even pay new prices (maybe 20 bucks) for that stuff)
