1980 Peavey T40

I am 99% sure these are not original and may even be 3D printed but, I wanted to ask on here before starting the hunt for true Peavey parts for it. It sounds awesome, feels good to me (I usually play a Gibson G3 so I am used to weight,) and its definitely a keeper, white knobs or not. Thanks for any and all insight to this beautiful beast of a bass.

Awesome! Looks similar to the one I used to have. It is the only bass I regret selling.

I'm actually beside myself thinking - one bass and you can play Boston, Rush, Yes, any PBass song plus a StringRay tone! Wowsers!
I have the Journey Live cd Captured and Ross Valory used a Peavey bass (not sure it it's T40) to record. He had great tone on that cd. Didn't love his tone as much on Escape (?bass?) and Frontiers (Steinberger - based on the send her my love video).

Don't forget Big Black, everyone loves bigblack although the bass plr had a black finish, but the rosewood neck one

@bholder The word squonky gave me pause and I thought to myself..."that bholder is pulling the Aussies leg again with made up Americanised words" loll
I just googled it and lo and bholder...there it was loll
SQUONKY - An adjective used to describe something squishy, loveable, cuddleable or all in all positive. Usually used to refer to squishy chubby cute animals.
My guess is when you get to that point playing the T-40 "right on the edge between 7 and 8" it's so loveable ya cant put it down loll...other than that I'm not sure I wanna know loll

'91 PEAVEY DYNA bASS 5 (5)..8.6lbs
My scales I use to weigh my basses...never use bathroom scales...tried that once...me and the T-40..just about broke em loll
