My wife bought this as a surprise for me and just gave the bass to me last night so I can gig with it this weekend. I have always had a weird fondness for the Peavey basses but I really don't know a whole lot about them. This is a 1980 T40, its heavy, but its in super nice condition. It has some nicks and dings but nothing really noticeable. My question for the T40 experts here is what is the deal with the white control knobs and pickup trim? I am 99% sure these are not original and may even be 3D printed but, I wanted to ask on here before starting the hunt for true Peavey parts for it. It sounds awesome, feels good to me (I usually play a Gibson G3 so I am used to weight,) and its definitely a keeper, white knobs or not. Thanks for any and all insight to this beautiful beast of a bass.

Awesome! Looks similar to the one I used to have. It is the only bass I regret selling.

That EB setting comes as no surprise, I actually called it before I seen it
