1980 Rickenbacker 4003 case question

I had the misfortune of having my case for my Ric 4003 stole at a show (at least the bass wasn't in it)! I ordered a case through musicians friend Rickenbacker 94550 Vintage Bass Case for 4000: Shop Accessories & Other Musical Instruments | Musician's Friend

My bass fits inside, but it definitely moves around a lot and is by no means snug. Is there any way to make the case more form fitting for my bass? Did I order the wrong thing? Any help would be appreciated.

You could also just take the bass to a local music store and see if they have a case that fits it.

Rickenbacker cases are nice but over-priced.

Get a Squier case. Nobody will steal it next time.
