1st gig with new band tonight

So I posted a thread a few weeks ago about a new cover band I am in...hot female singer who is 27, with her 45 yr old BF and guitar player who is stuck in the 80's hair band stuff :rollno:

I wasn't really "feeling" this band..something wasn't/isn't clicking...
well tonight is the night!! 1st Gig. Either going to be a train wreck or fun....:hyper:

There are still some issues with intro's and ending of songs...It's has been handed to me as far as when to end, but the guitard player told me last night, if the crowd is getting into it to let it run a bit longer....:eyebrow: Jesus H Christ!!!

Will report back Sunday...along with pics of hot singer :p

Well? We're waiting....

:D

The guitard player is right, this time. If the crowd is getting into the number... keep playing.. keep them dancing. Maybe an extra solo, but don't stop. The crowd will like you and the club owner will sell more beer= more return gigs. My band pisses me off because they don't get it. They will actually go on break just as soon as we fill the dance floor with some fast tunes and have the crowd all whipped up. Fast way to loose the audience.

Meanwhile... where's those pics.

110% agree with this ethic.

Meanwhile our OP was hitting on the singerbabe, got caught by the BF and is in intensive care...next to the bass player he replaced.
