I am thinking of getting a Genzler rig, Megallen 800 or 350 amp (not sure which yet), Bass array 10-2 and 12-3 cabs. I like the versatility of using a compact 1x10 rig, a 1x12 rig and the full rig for bigger gigs when they happen. I am hoping that I will get the punch of a 10” speaker and the depth of the 12” speaker. Has anyone got any experience of mixing a 1x10 and 1x12 cab together? Cheers SCB

1x10" cab with 1x12" cab

There is really no such thing as 'punch of a 10 and depth of a 12'. It all comes down to the design.
I would not recommend mixing those cabs firstly because the cabs are not the same size, and secondly because when using both you would be limited by the 10. I would get a pair of the 12's.

They do great together and in these cases the 10 is "punchier" with the 12 having deeper bass as well as the 15 having more deeper bass then them two.

Now that would be one hell of a rig, 10" on top of 12" on top of a 15" bass array hmmmmm
