1x15" cab needed

Hi everyone,
I hope this thread isn't a straight duplicate of another. If so, apologies.
I am acquiring an Ampeg B-15 clone head, and I need to find a cab which will best compliment it. Don't say AMPEG so fast: I am looking for something lightweight ( under 40 lbs.), I prefer it to be made stateside to be supportive of our economy, and is attractive in my studio. The clone head has a cabinet in black/tan, so black seems right for the cab, ideally with a tan'ish grill. Head looks a little retro. The most important criteria is of course classic B-15 tone, and for my head, the cab must be 8 ohms. Obviously I'm aware of the commonly known cabs like Aguilar, Mesa, Bergantino, Revsound, Form Factor, Eden, Markbass, Trace, Ampeg, etc, so I'm a little more focused on opinions about lesser known builders, but specifically what y'all think are cabs focused on the designs and tonal characteristics of the B-15.

To get the 'real' B-15 sound you may need a similar built cabinet. The double or single baffle cabinet design like the original. Barring that, a good quality cabinet you can audition in person to hear if it does what are looking for. You are already familiar with the known players. Other than those mentioned, I have nothing to add.

I do have a Mesa WD 800 head with either a Mesa SW 115 or an Aguilar GS 112 cabinet. Those are my B-15 clones as I sold my B-15 to finance the purchase of the Mesa gear. To my ear, I get an acceptable B-15 sound, you may not. That's why I suggest auditioning the cabinet hopefuls in person.

I have had Don build me four amazing cabs (three different ones, the two I still have now are a matched mirror-imaged pair). There are a lot af happy TBers who own cabs made by LDS, all come with glowing reports.

Definitely talk with Don before plunking money down on anything else.

I would say the Mesa Subway 15 for a modern take or an older powehouse cab with the EV driver for so.ething more traditional. The Bag End S-15 would offer modern performance closer to the original. There is also the Basic 15 from one of the Greenboy cab builders that would work well.

Not to get off-topic, but they've got this 8x10 for $699.99, and it's everything I can do to resist calling and finding out what shipping would be.

As well as Flip Tops, there's also Vintage Blue for replica B-15 cabs. IIRC Vintage Blue built the Heritage B-15 cabs for Ampeg (unless I've got that wrong and it was Flip Tops).

If you're handy, consider fEarful cabs, or BFM Simplexx Series cabs. Both are simple to build, you get the exact specs you want, and you get a boutique cab at about half the price of those name brand guys.

If you are going single 15", watch for a high sensitivity speaker.
98 to 100 dBSPL is really good.
Below that and you'll feel drowned with a loud band.

One builder not mentioned is Genzler. I love my exceptional BA 15-3. Very balanced sound from a 15, that combined with the Array drives provides a very smooth response that is not muddy like typical 15 combined with my amp, a wide range of tones are easily achieved. This is due to exceptional design of this cab.
