1x15" cab needed

A big part of the B15 sound is the cab design and a 15" speaker that has some breakup at 35 to 40 watts...i think i know where you are going but i would plug the head into several cabs, maybe not even a single 15?...in my Gemini II i have tried many 15s; EV to CTS to Eminence and Jensen...wound up with a 70s Utah 15 out of a Fender Bassman cab but its a open back cab...go figure...the issue is many modern 1x15 bass cabs are designed to go low with power which a 50 watt B15 clone is limited to push low hz...adjustable hpf filter is how i would go to take advantage of the limited power (even in a studio).

Yes...not sure what else is out there in hpf but they are game changers...i am looking around myself for an hpf.... i dont play out either but they will save speakers and get the most out of an amp by eliminating unwanted low frequencies in a studio setting.

Thank you for the kind words, they are much appreciated but, we are indeed still a custom shop and I'm happy to accommodate whenever possible. As long as the customer has some time and the end result will be positive I enjoy these jobs. I never thought I'd be "mainstream" but to be recognized is appreciated.

They are very helpful. We make a HPF as well.

It's too narrow for the head, which is 21" wide. Here's my current plan:
I am on the list to purchase a Benson when they release a few in December. In the meantime, I purchased a used Ampeg PF115LF for $280 from GC, which also means if it sucks I can return it to them no questions asked to any GC location. Since I'm in L.A., I have three GC's within a 20 minute drive. If I like the Ampeg with the 65 Amp, I'll change the grill and be done. I would have loved a Revsound, but the option of a custom build that was 21" wide was not offered to me. I think Dawind is a class act, and someday I would like to have a Revsound in my collection.
