2 basses - 1 color

I have two Squier DAJV 'bursts, one fretted and one fretless...

Makes the transition easier due to overall scale length and feel; finger positioning is another matter!

I have at least 6 black basses, two of them Jazz's, and two Corts.

Two see through red Trabens, two 'burst P's, but one is a tele/mudbucker.

I don't need to explain myself to people.....

Heck, I do this on purpose - look to buy a matching bass to one I already have.

Sadly, recently I bought a red bass and thought to myself "cool - a red bass, I don't have one in red!" - only to realize later that I have not one but TWO other red basses already! hahaha

many people out here have 2 "similar" basses in the same color...all good, even some may have the EXACT same basses in the same color.

I have 3 red P/J basses, in slightly different configs, and 2 black ones in the same "similar" configs, BUT ---
I highly doubt it if anyone, ANYONE on TB, has a pair like this in ANY color....

and if your wondering why I have a left AND right handed bass...I play both lefty basses and righty basses .

thanks dataBass. ya, I got a whole bunch of Charvels in different configs and colors but only one lefy model which just happened to be white to match my righthanded one.

I never ever saw a lefty Charvel in all my years, so to me it didn't matter what color it was when I bought it.

I do NOT have a blue bass in all the ones I have...but I did buy a red one recently that will be blue someday

Both my Ric 4001 and my P-bass were black with white pickguard, so I had to put a black/red/black on my Fender, just so I could tell them apart.

Heck, I just bought an Ibanez 5 string, but if I find a Trans-Red one (four or five string) to match my Satriani guitar and my drums, I will absolutely buy it if funds permit at the time.

What color are we talking? If it's sunburst, or black, you're probably OK. If it's aqua blue, you would probably have to explain every show. But then again, who cares? If you like it, and it's a good deal, go for it.

Unless they are both Shell Pink, and you don't have more than one pair/style of white paten leather shoes....who cares?
