I use a sack truck/trolley and make 3 easy and manageable trips to the car.
I see no advantage in changing my gear so I can make any fewer trips.
That's exactly how i USED to feel. Since then I downsized my pedalboard, switched to a class D micro amp, and instead of my monster 115 & 410 stack I now have a 210/112 neo setup. If I don't need both cabs I can load in with but one trip (and my bass case doesn't have shoulder straps). If I could backpack the bass I'd be able to take everything I need and both cabs in the same trip.
When I finally got it all sorted out even my guitarist was jealous of the minimal load in.
BUT, if you don't mind the extra trips, and you like what your rig is doing for you more power to you. It'll save you a lot of money on switching out/duplicating gear.
