2 ohm Capable Heads -- What's out there?

Get yourself an Eden WT-550. I use one to run two 4 ohm Eden D-410T cabinets on a regular basis.

Amazing tonal flexibility, ear splitting volume and 2 ohm stability in one tidy little package.

Cheers,
Duff2

+1 on the Eden head. I have the WT550 which I love and also their WT800 does 2 ohms as well I believe. Eden may have other amps or power amps as well that run at 2 ohms.

Best wishes,

Dave

As mentioned in a previous posting, Genz-Benz GBE1200 will drive your two 410 eight ohm cabs with ease. Trust me!

I have a Clarus 1 series 2 Acoustic Image amp which is rated at 150W at 8 ohms, 200 W @ 4ohms, >300 W @ 2ohms, but it's as loud as some other amps rated much higher.

AI also has great service.

I needed a repair for the first time in 8 years of ownership and I only paid for shipping to them.

They sent it back with the one componant upgraded for free.

At 5lbs it's hard to beat.

If you're still looking I might consider parting with it, as it's been my backup amp since investing in a Woods. I also have the carry bag.

Huge fan of AI gear. Rick Jones has been a great resource to his customers. I've owned a Clarus Series I and Series II, a Focus Series II, and my standby original Clarus. That last amp is unique if for nothing else than being the first production Clarus unit. I called Rick with a service question and he asked me for the serial number. When I told him he said that it was the first amp they sold. I thought he meant the first model. No. The first amp. Still gigging, still working without a hitch. Even if I had my Focus II, or one of the new Clarus models, that amp would still get the call most of the time.

Funniest Clarus Moment - guitar player at an open mike where I am playing with the house band: "what is that effect unit on top of your speaker cab?"
