2 x 410 VS 810

Yeah, I am aware of tonal advantages etc etc, just curious if there is gonna be a difference volume-wise between playing through 2 410s or a single 810, i am just worried about this because obviously the 410s can only handle a certain amount of wattage...

help? feel free to throw in some irrelevant information about these amps, btw i am playing an svt3 and either the two 410he or single 810

4x10 gives you better options and two cabs @ 8 ohms in parallel will be 4 ohms. When you play them by themselves they'll be 8 ohms.

Make sure they are power rated high enough to handle the amp you plan on using.

I use a 600 watt head in an SWR 4x10 together or seperately with a MESA Powerhouse 2x10 and the 2x10 sounds as good or better than the 4x10..

I also use a Schroeder 1212L @ 4ohms ... Check www.schroedercabinets.com for some killer lightweight cabinets. Call Jorg and he'll talk to you and advise you for the style of music you're playing...

Don't let the grumpy/cranky's bother you that don't want to give you some news... Things are always evolving with bass gear and asking questions is how we all help.... If you can do a search great... If you want current news.... Ask!

any difference between 8 in one box and 4 in each as long as the cabs are close together.
Its what's more convenient to you? transport considerations are important.
I use an eight by ten cos its not got to move much and they are cheaper
per driver because they are impracical to most.
If you persuaded the band to incorperate a sawing the lady in half act
on night one you could have two 4 X 10's at greatly reduced cost.
