20 vs 21 Fret Jazz Neck

** EDIT: As of 3/25/15, the Guitar Center website incorrectly described the MM2908 Jazz Bass neck (rosewood board) as having 21 frets. It has 20. This caused my confusion. I'm not sure whether MM even makes a 21-fret jazz neck with shelf extension. **

If Fender Jazz necks are 20 frets on a 34" scale and Mighty Mite Jazz necks are 21 frets on a 34" scale, how can the latter be a "direct replacement?"

(I searched for this but had no luck.)

Thanks.

And you'll want that. It's one higher.
