Not really.
The one I had was solid as a bat.
The cheap Belcat pickups and the preamp had to be switched out to Aguilar products.

One never knows at this price point. I have basses with price tags well into five figures, but one of the best is a unbranded bass I bought in a department store in Bangkok for about $100. At this price, it doesn't matter if it sucks; you really haven't lost anything, and someone else might buy it from you.
