I am currently on a mission to research and found out info on my lovely Cort B4FL. It recently came into a bit of electrical troubles and I am trying to remedy this so I can get back to using her in some upcoming sessions.
I've dug around and found a bunch of info on it today, but now I'm at a standstill. Cort's website only has the schematics available for the 2006/2009 models, and nothing for the first generations! Kind of odd, but I work in manufacturing so I know how disconnected things can get between development and marketing.
My model does not have a toggle switch or push-pull for active/passive; so, the 2006/2009 schematics do nothing for me. The reason I'm looking for the original schematics is because I am actually missing a pot! When this bass was bought in 2001, it was a gift to me. It ended up having electrical issues right off the bat, and a friend of the family "fixed" it up for me. It's been a great sounding bass and I've had no issues until a couple months ago.
Does anyone out there happen to have access to schematics for the 2001 B4FL model? I've left a message for the US distributor, but they are closed until Monday it seems.
