2006 Highway One Jazz Bass Colors?

I think I just scored a 2006 Highway One Jazz at a pawnshop for a good price, but the body is a satin natural finish. I don't recall them being made in that color, but can't find anything definitive. Does anyone remember them being made in a transparent/natural finish?

If you have access to a 2006 Fender Frontline, then you can see the Highway One finishes on page 113. A natural finish is not a listed option. However, it could be some special edition thing for GC, etc.

Good call on checking the frontline catalogue. I found a couple of pre-2006 examples in this finish so maybe it's a transitional or parts bass. Or a special color run for a retailer as you suggested. The finish appears original, but it has the 70s logo and badass II bridge that indicate it's a 2006 or later. Serial number on the neck also decodes as a 2006.

Honey blonde on this bass looks quite washed out, maybe that's it. I often look for Highway Ones but I guess owners will not part with them.

I think it's definitely a transparent finish. I'm wondering if it's a pre-2006 body. Pics:

My guess is:
Necks looks legit
Body looks legit but it certainly was stripped by a previous owner.
The badass bridge is correct
The pickups were definitely changed as those noiseless pickups are from a deluxe model.
Is the pickguard a white one? That would be correct.

Thanks for the input. It didn't have a pickguard. I've got a black one I'll probably throw on it. Stripped body probably makes the most sense. Either way I'm happy with it. It plays and sounds great and I got it for a lot less than the price of the parts.
