2009 NYC GTG Afterparty (pics/vids)

Hey Bob, I finally found time to test out the speakers I won.
These things sound great, but I'll try to be a little more articulate as I review them.
First of all, here they are.

I unpacked them, and sat them atop my regular Bose 505-V speakers.
I began by flipping through the FM dial, beginning with a news brodcast, then moving on to Rock, Classical and Latin stations.
The sound was very good.
Then, I played a few CDs through them.
HOLY BATMAN !!!
These speakers have excellent upper bass, mid-range and highs, and are only a little shy in the lower bass department. Considering they have 5.25 inch woofers, that's not bad.
Whenever I test speakers, I try to play music that's more on the acoustic side rather than any kind of heavy music, because I feel you won't hear the full potential of the speakers.
Two of the songs which really showed what these speakers can do were:
The piano, horns and percussion sounded so good, but when the vibes came in, it was like finding a twenty dollar bill in a an old coat you haven't worn since last winter!
Seriously, fantastic!
I'm using an old SAE power amp that puts out about 150 watts, but I watch the power meters, and make sure that the speakers aren't getting more than the recommended 50 watts. At 25 watts, these speakers are loud and clean.
If these are among QSC's entry level speakers, I can only imagine what their bigger stuff sounds like.
Bob, please show this to whoever at QSC donated the speakers for the give-away, and tell them I'm very happy with them, and not just becase I won them. These speakers have a very nice, natural, clean sound, and I would recommend them to anyone.
I think a small subwoofer would complete the low-end portion of the sound spectrum.
Any suggestions?
