2014-2015 NHL Regular Season Thread

Please Buffalo, beat Pittsburgh Sunday. I beg of you, please.

-Mike

Mike - why would the Pens torture Bruins fans that way? The Pittsburgh game starts 30 minutes earlier. If the Pens lose, all it will do is delay the inevitable - the Bruins will blow a 1 goal lead in the 3rd, lose to the Lightning thus giving the Pens the record for the longest backward skate into the playoffs in history. The Bruin housecleaning and rebuilding needs to start today - the Pens need to man up and accept their rightful place in the playoffs.

With the regular season coming to an end and I presume this thread, I must say, that was one amazing season.

A lifelong Rangers fan, I've been on some rollercoaster rides. This season, especially the 2nd half, was amazing. Usually the Rangers barely crawl their way into the playoffs, make some noise, and get ousted unceremoniously. This team has been dominant. And they are healthy (afaik).

Any fan will tell you that a new season starts next week. But given their recent play, they have a strong chance to go very deep.

Enjoy your playoffs

Two games of consequence tonight.

With the Sens getting a point against Filly, they clinched a spot.
Last two teams looking to make the playoffs are the Penguins and the Bruins. Penguins have a better chance given that they play buffalo and the broons are facing Tampa.

Points:
Penguins 96
Bruins 95

If they end up tied in points, lots of scenarios come into play.

Buckle up!

Some good excitement over the last few days--good set up for the playoffs.

And for those that care (personally it's not a big deal for me)--5 Canadian based teams make the playoffs.

However most of the players are still Canadians.
