2019 NFL Preseason

I'm all for preseason this year. I want Ryan T. to get as many reps as he can with this offense. Chances are he'll be the starter at some point when Mariota gets hurt. @Clark Dark that game was tough for me because while I am a Titans fan, because of where I'm from and family considerations I'm an Eagles fan ( better to call them my NFC routing interest, maybe a step below a "fan" ) Tenn. is a direct reflection of their coach. Throw back old school rub some dirt on it playing. They get down and dirty in the trenches for sure. I hate dumb penalties though. I like the attitude, they just need to apply it in a more focused, controlled manner.

Except for that one day every year when the outcome is assured. Something about apples. It's in Seattle this year.

Let the trash talk commence!

Yup, we'll see if the dawgz can conjure up another blizzard that snows 3 inches in three hours, all within one 10-mile circle centered over the stadium! What's more, it has to happen in Seattle.

Last year was the most bizarre weather I've ever seen for an Apple Cup.

No bigger NFL headcase than Antonio "I want to use my own helmet or else." Brown. Maybe he should have to play without one for just one across the middle reception against a safety like Ronnie Lott...yes I am a raiders fan.

Dumb like a fox. Until the grievance was decided, he didn't have to report. No way he would retire and leave 30 million on the table.

Hey @Funky Ghost , I hear ya, at least save it for the time when the game is meaningful. Pre-season, game one, not cool.

Working on it. It does snow over here. It used to be every other year. Now it's once every five years or so. But, we can make an exception for the Apple Cup. Especially if it snows on the Cougs and stops for the Huskies like it seemed to do last season. I forgot to thank you for that. You were undoubtedly involved in that phenomenon, and it worked out well.

I want to see The Mississippi Moustache nail down the #2 QB position in Jacksonville. He probably won't displace Foles, but he could position himself nicely for a starting job at another team in a year or two.

Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!

Man, Hard Knocks is boring this year. Just an excuse for a Gruden sound bite. Nothing of substance. No drama that isn't Diva derived. I wont watch any more this season. 2 was 1 too many.

Same here bro. You nailed it on the Gruden sound bites. It took me all of about 20 minutes to turn it off.
I have never been impressed with Gruden, so I can't understand the hype.
He's average at best, and I'm trying to remember any QB's he groomed into NFL stars.
Oh wait, he won a Super Bowl. Yeah, that was all the defense Dungy built that Gruden guided behind Brad Johnson as his QB. Anyone remember Brad Johnson? Yeah, I didn't think so. :)
His 'coaching tree' is a poster for mediocrity, and his ability to manage a salary cap makes me wonder who manages his checkbook at home for him. Granted, that should be the GM's job, but in today's NFL, the head coach has as much, if not more, say in who's on the roster.
He's flashy and has a big mouth. That's why he's coaching in the NFL right now.

I only remember Brad Johnson because he played at FSU. (Booooo!!!)

I don't usually listen to Jim Rome ( all that's on during my lunch besides Steven A Smith... yeah THAT ain't happening. . . ) and lucked into an interview with Cameron Wake. MAN I like that guy. I'm glad he's in a Titans uniform. He's going to be an excellent veteran in the locker room and on the field.

He's a stellar dude, easily my favorite Dolphins player of the last decade. I understand why Miami didn't resign him as a 37-year-old edge rusher, but I wish him the best.
