Well of course I posted this and then da mare announced Chicago will fully reopen Friday, June 11.

So let’s give it a month from then (on July 11, 2021), and see what happens. If everything is good (and I am hoping it will be), we can look into a fall 2021 gtg.

I went to a blues jam last night and it was great to just be around people and listening to (and playing, although mine is not so great ) live music.

Really hoping things keep on this path…

Lots of live music out in the burbs. Addison IL Auto show with two live bands tonight. Lots of food, beer, and wine. Elk Grove Village had their Rotary Fest and concerts in the park featuring War, Beach Boys, Daughtry, and Thorogood every Tuesday in July followed by live bands across the street at the sports bar.

I'm most likely not attending... delta variant has me a little nervous even though I had the Pfizer back in March.

Just saying hello to everyone on here. The Delta and Omicron variant is floating around the Chicago area. This past week I had to cancel two band practices. One drummer tested positive and the other drummer was around several people who tested positive for it. In addition, one of the guitar players was feeling terrible and got tested too. His test came up negative, but what a scare!

I just got my booster today, but I am not sure what it means for a 2022 GTG. Stay safe everyone.

Thanks for the update! Keep safe. Who knows how long this outbreak will be. We officially opened up the office to all staff in October and now closing it to all staff for January.

Hopefully, we can target a Spring/Summer GTG.
