Still waiting on the Bridge to take the slow boat from Brazil, so might as well build a hard case while I wait...
With the Headstock frame attached, the bass is too long to fit in a standard P-bass case so building a longer one out of baltic birch ply.

Yes! Matching case and matching stand/wall hanger
Got the bottom half of the case wrapped in tolex. "Vox style fawn" color. Needed 2 yards at 54" wide to wrap the whole case. Got the bottom cut right but screwed up the top piece so now I have to order another 2 yards to get a new piece big enough for the top.
Great job on that piece tho!
How did you go about getting the edges to have that round-ness to them?

Thanks. I ran the box through a 7/16 round over bit on my router table. I was worried that the thin (1/4" bottom and 1/8" top) woods wouldn't have enough left, and on the top it may have weakened it. But some manufacturers use cardboard so it should still be strong enough. Most of the rounding went into the 1/2" sides.
Got another 2 yards of tolex and got the top wrapped and all the exterior hardware installed on the case.
The inside will have to wait as the foam and velvet have not arrived yet.

Good news! USPS tried to deliver my bridge today!!! (It was signature required and I wasn't home)
So I should have it in hand in the next day or two and be able to get this build wrapped up!

Test fitting the bridge finally, the base of the bridge definitely needs to be countersunk into the body.
Case done... my last build, "Willow" looks nice in it.
