Interesting... I've only got that movie on VHS... might need to shell out for the DVD if only to watch Tarrantino ramble on while his forehead sweats...

It's pretty insufferable, I was disappointed with it as a "bonus disc" considering it really is just him sitting and rambling. Then again, this is before I realized how much the dude likes to sit and ramble. Lesson learned I 'spose...
 
This whole Jules being a demon thing is shocking to me. I never knew about that.

On the very very very excrutiatingly long winded extras disc that comes with the anniversary director's edition or some such thing, he mentions that they thought about all that stuff later.

Jules isn't a demon - the kids they wasted were. Jules and Vincent are just some guys protected by god, charged with the task of getting Marcelluses' soul back.

I highly doubt that they had no idea. The whole movie is exactly about that - I mean, come on. Their saying it had nothing to do with his soul is the MacGuffin. It's a reverse MacGuffin, if anything.
