I generally agree with this statement. However that is based on my experience with 210's and 410's. If you are comparing 2x 210's that can take combined more power than the 410 you compare them against that changes the conversation.one 4x10 sounds way better than two 2x10s stacked.
Up to a month ago I would have suggested two 210s. Having recently acquired a Barefaced Four 10 has turned my speaker world on its head. Small enough and light enough to be an easy schlep, loud enough and tuneful enough to cater for just about any indoor gig.
If the reviews are even half true a single twelve Barefaced Big Baby 2 will perform comparably to a 410. Seems hard to believe, but haven't tried one myself.
