What makes DR Fat Beams different from DR Hi-Beams?

I like the way they feel, the Fat Beams.
Which Rotosounds are you talking about? Are you comparing them because of the roughness or sound? Or both?
Both. :) Usually Rotos are my string of choice but I've been experimenting lately. I love Rotos. Well the super bright ganky tone of Rotos. But not as they fade. The DR's just seem to last longer. Fat Beams are the closest sounding and feeling(roughness, not tension) to Rotos that Ive found so far.

Interesting!

I have a pack of Rotosound 66 that someone gave me... I never tried them so maybe I'll have a go one of these days
