2x15 or 4x10?

Man, your post has so many variables. I like 12's. Have abandoned 15's years ago. Low end + mids? Ampeg 410 lfh. Or is it lhf? Whatever.

To tell the truth, it seems as though you don't really know what your question is. No offense

To be honest, I don't really know what my question is anymore. I haven't ever purchased a cab, or a head, or even a combo amp. I need advice

Very good. Now we have some basis for a conversation.

Depending on your needs, which you have not yet told us, I would recommend cabs with 12's. One or two. These can be of many different brands and still fill the bill. Most 112 cabs available will handle 200-500 watts. A head in the 200 - 500 watts range will also be good.

If you are just beginning, consider a combo amp with a 12 or 15, that has maybe 100-200 watts. Ampeg would be great. Avoid Behringer.

My young friend. If you would post some particular needs, or tell us what you are trying to achieve, many players on this forum would chime in and try to help. All of us older players are eager to help and give our best advice, if we know what the needs are.

Don't be shy. And keep in mind that if you are just considering learning and have not yet even bought a bass or an amp, then your choice of amps is not as important as your choice in guitars, Do you have a bass? If not, that is a good place to start. Better than considering an amp
