That was a very hard fought game from beginning to end - both teams played with a lot of heart and it showed. While I wish the results would have been different, it was a well deserved win. Congratulations, Canada.

She's a huge Parise fan so she has some consolation.

I'm a big Bruins fan so i rooted canada, though i live in the US. we had more players there neway 
(i actually wanted slovakia to win but they didnt so.. meh..)
the only bruin i cared about on USA was tim thomas but he wasnt in goal for the gold game so i didnt care hahaha

my work (a restaurant) literally shut down for overtime. families at tables understood when all the cooks were watching on the huge projector screen, they could wait for their food.

I have many fond memories of the Winnipeg Jets and the Quebec Nordiques, as well as a third team (see my avatar).
That game was insane. My girlfriend literally had to leave the room she was getting so stress out. I jumped so high when Crosby scored that my head hit the ceiling, there were people running out into the streets screaming. One of the craziest moments that I remember. You could hear the neighbours scream when the goal went in, I think you could have heard that from anywhere in Canada. Congrats Canada, you deserved it.
