Cool! They look like cheap plastic instruments, although I'm sure they are not. Interesting to see how the market at large reacts. Given the traditionalism that seems to pervade stringed instruments, I have a feeling they won't be widely popular. There is a lot of tradition to overcome, even if they are a great idea.

3D printing is an excellent tool when searching for new forms and creating layouts. The problem is that the new form is not subject to search for violins.
This demonstrates the capabilities of a printer, but not the capabilities of a violin ... :-(
