3-way cab speaker suggestions

Yeah...Like I said I think I may have misheard or misunderstood! I think I'm going with the 3012LFs and a dedicated mid and a tweeter.

Any suggestions for midrange driver and tweeter? I know you've got a 2x12 from Don, I'd be interested to hear your suggestions!
My LDS is a 215, not 212. I went for a 2-way rather than 3-way, so I used full-range drivers, not LF, & no dedicated mid(s). I chose Eminence Kappa Lite 3015s. Many guys like these lot (& for good reason) although more seem to prefer the Faital Pro 15PR400s. They're arguably the 2 best full-range 15s on the market. I sure think they are, anyway. The high frequency/tweeter I chose is the Selenium D220Ti & I paired it with a Selenium HM25-25 horn (90x60). Outfitted the box in Tweed tolex (a really heavy duty variety & Fender-style Oxblood grill cloth (both from Amp Parts, Cabinets, Guitar, Bass, Pickups, Pedals - Mojotone.com ). Vintage vibe for appearance out the wazoo :D with modern sound for daze ;). Also incorporated a toggle to switch between running the 3015s full-range by themselves, completely disengaging the crossover/eliminating the tweeter & running the box as a 2-way, crossing over to the Selenium @ 2kHz. 2 different sounding cabs in 1 :hyper:.

Eminence Kappa Lite 3015 Speakers - Eminence Kappa Lite-3015
lightweight neodymium woofer. The Eminence Kappa Lite-3015 is a 15" 8 ohm
lightweight speaker with extended Xmax. The Eminence Kappa Lite-3015 15"
speakers are rated at 450 watts RMS. Em

As far as a mid for the 3012LFs, consider the 18Sound 6ND410 & Faital Pro M5N8-80. The 18Sound has been successfully used for some time now as the mid in 15/6 & 212/6 cabs & the Faital, newer on the block, has gotten lots of love here on TB.

Eighteen Sound Speakers - Eighteen Sound 6ND410 - Eighteen Sound 6ND410 6.5" midrange speaker has a lightweight neodymium magnet and is 102dB SPL. Eighteen Sound 6ND410 6.5" midrange speakers are available here. 18 Sound speaker components.

Faital Pro M5N8-80 5" Speakers - Faital Pro M5N8-80 5" midrange speaker that has a lightweight neodymium magnet. Faital Pro M5N8-80 80 watt 5" high efficiency of 99dB SPL for all midrange applications.

Cool! I called Don again last night and clarified and I think that's exactly what I'm getting

2x12 with Eminence 3012LF
Faital Pro M5N8-80 (he said the 18sound is GREAT, but makes the midrange pop a bit more. I like a nice even sounding cab)
Eminence 1001 tweeter

Should get my final quote today.

No one would be unhappy with the cab you're talking about. In fact, I think everyone would be extremely pleased-as-punch to have it as their cab (or 1 in their arsenal). Best of luck with it. Doing black Duratex & metal grill?

Yup! Black tolex and metal grill with the blue baffle, I love that look. Kind of a bit different, but still dark enough that it wouldn't be too obnoxious on stage.
