3-way rotary switch.. is this what I need?

Hi all, just wanting to put a 3 way rotary switch in a jazz bass, wondering if this is what im after. Im always confused by how many poles i'd need.

You need two poles, but more is fine.

The schematic looks good, but I can't say about the pin layout without checking a spec sheet for a particular switch.

Would that be the Hugh Thomas of 13th Street Guitars? He's worked on a few of my basses. Good guy.

Okay thanks. Im not sure if it's him but it most likely is i guess, i found this online in another forum
