3000 watts not loud enough

I've got all the controls on the pre set flat (straight up at noon except for the mid its around 1 or 130) does any one know when the serial numbers changed with the mods for the pre amp?

That would have been last fall, date code somewhere in the Q9 or Q0 area. Date code is the 5th and 6th position of the serial.

I don't have the production history handy, so I am not sure which months we actually made them last year.

If you want to PM me with the serial I can check it out.


BTW, first thing I would look at is if you can get what you want by turning some dials, like the gain and master. I wouldn't be too worried about clipping that pre........
