I've gigged with two different Ampeg SVT210s and been horribly underwhelmed by both, so I would think almost anything would be an improvement! Can't speak to how these would compare volume-wise, but I know tone-wise and weight-wise a Flite Sound 112B will kill the Ampeg:

I weighed every thing in a cardboard box before I assembled it. The finished product came out to 19.8 pounds.
