31 band EQ with Peavey XR689D

Hi, I have a powered mixer XR689D, and i want to connect a 31 band eq to a monitor mix.

The mixer is a 600 watt head, and i split the amp with 300 for the FOH and 300 for the mixer. the unit has a PA1 and PA2.
so i link the PA2 to the monitor out, which splits the amp. works good that way with a separate monitor mix.

Recently i bought a 31 band eq and just wondering how i connect this to the monitors

Are you sure of that model number?
The only search result for that model number is this thread.
There's XR684F, XR696F, XR8600D, XR8300, etc..
