34" Scale with a good B?

My old TBC (The Bass Company) AP-500M had a HUGE B string. Just sounded massive, great for big dub/hip-hop lines.

+1 on that.

I have a Sandberg California PM5 and it's great. Not floppy at all.

Sandberg will make you a bass with either a 34" scale neck or a 35", but only on the 5 string. The PM5 is like a Fender USA Deluxe P Bass but the pickups have larger pole pieces and I think it gives them more punch than the Fender. I've played my buddy's Fender USA Deluxe and I much prefer my Sandberg.

Tilt back that headstock and use string trees, insures for a tight B.

actually the cort curbow5 has a very good b 34 inch scale. My brother had a tobias growler that had a great every string lol.

oops i forgot to add the tobias growler is now not quite the same as the original ones so not sure how they sound/play now

I heard that EBMM uses .130 B's on their basses to make it tighter.
